o   Leadership versus management
o   Reflective evaluation of current systems
o   Analysis of your school’s current performance: provision V outcomes
o   Focused action planning
o   Systems for monitoring and supporting
o   Linking data to classroom practice
o   Understanding and ensuring high quality teaching
o   The challenges of consistency and accountability
o   Maximising the impact of meetings.

Cost of the course: CAPH members £75 per delegate; non CAPH members £100 per delegate (all prices + VAT).  Please note that once a place is booked and confirmed, any cancellations received after 14th March 2018 will be charged the full delegate rate.

Feedback from previous delegates

We asked delegates attending this course in June what they liked about the day, here is sample of their response:

  • Tutor was engaging, knowledgeable and clear
  • Focused thoughts so I have actions to take back to school
  • Positive ideas given in a thought-provoking way
  • Everything was relevant to my role and school
  • The handouts were fabulous!
  • Thinking about my own school rather than working on a ‘model’ example with others
  • Opportunity to talk to others – networking
  • The opportunity to discuss with others about roles and expectations in school
  • Looking at the difference between managers and leaders
