All Cornwall’s schools have signed up to Cornwall’s Green Charter for Schools. One of the aims schools have signed up to is attending the annual Cornwall Schools’ Eco-Conference. This year, Cornwall will host the G7 Summit. This year, Cornwall’s Schools’ Eco-Conference is focused on providing an opportunity for our school councils and student eco-committees to discuss the priorities of the G7 with a group of their international peers, politicians, activists, inspirational local businesses and not-for-profit organisations in order to identify the issues that are most meaningful to them.
Our schools’ Eco-Conference is aimed at school councils and student eco-committees. It will involve these students, accompanied by the teacher who leads the school council/ student eco-committee, attending the conference virtually from their own schools on Monday 7 June. Further information will be circulated over the next few weeks.
