Introducing Elklan Therapy
Elklan, which began life as a training company commissioned by Cornwall LEA, is expanding and is now in a fantastic position to offer speech and language therapy directly to schools and pre-schools in Cornwall and North and West Devon.
We will work in harmony with NHS colleagues to offer therapy to children whose needs may not be significant enough to meet the NHS based criteria but are causing YOU concern.
Elklan will provide individual therapy or annual contracts to schools and pre-schools.
Elklan offers:
- Speech and language assessment of children and young people from qualified SaLTs
- Bespoke individual therapy sessions
- Group therapy sessions (where appropriate)
- Training for education staff
- Training for parents and carers
- Makaton training
Cost:
FREE initial consultation of up to 20 mins to discuss possible referrals for an initial assessment.
Pricing for Individuals (available for parents, pre-schools, and schools to purchase)
We offer a flat fee of £70 per hour for private speech and language therapy. Whatever you need, the price will be calculated accordingly. This takes into consideration the following:
- Initial assessment
- Reports and programmes
- Therapy Sessions
- Therapy Groups (up to 6 children)
Mileage is charged at 0.45p a mile. Travel time is free for return journeys under 25 miles from Bodmin.
Annual contracts
Contact Elklan about annual contracts which will provide regular visits and free Elklan training for some staff giving you a defined and mutually agreed level of service.
