Forest School training

forest school training

Cornwall College are offering FREE introductory sessions in May 2018 and our Degree Level Short Course (DLSC) Level 4 Forest School module coming up in June 2018.

This DLSC module is designed to meet the needs of Forest School practitioners who have the vision and insight needed to take learning outside the classroom. Forest School complements existing curriculum frameworks and is particularly beneficial in promoting self-esteem and modifying challenging behaviour and can support young people who are disengaged from education.

It is tailored for Forest School leaders who already hold a Level 3 Leaders qualification or those with a passion for outdoor learning. The module makes an excellent CPD choice enabling you to upskill, enhance current delivery or increase your own theoretical knowledge and understanding.

This course is run through tutor led sessions including small group activities and workshops. There will be 6 x 4 hour teaching blocks with additional tutorial support.
