Kernow Code Club, FIRST LEGO League and STEMvironment Eco-Sensor Project

Kernow Code Club. CIoS Digital Skills Partnership and Cornwall Council are running a pilot to get parents involved in running code clubs in Cornish schools. We are looking for 5 primary schools in the Bodmin and St Austell area to take part. FIRST LEGO League in Cornwall is a yearly programme for 9 to 16 year olds. Schools and youth groups can get involved in a fun STEM based engineering challenge and compete at our regional events at either RNAS Culdrose or Bude Cornwall's LEGO League We can support your team with training and mentoring and help access funding. Register your interest.  No deadline ongoing until the end of term.  Primary and Secondary Schools

STEMvironment, Eco-sensor project for primary schools. Starts September register interest ASAP
Young people will take part in practical activities using Micro:bit and Raspberry Pi computers designed to allow them to see the applications of sensor technology and apply to a real-world project of their own. Students will develop their own eco-project using their sensor. At the end of the project all the schools will come together for a celebration and to share their work.
