Nov 2019 Leading your Ofsted Visit

This is free seminar, for CAPH members only, looking at the practical aspects of an Ofsted Inspection. Our contributors are experienced school leaders who have been through many inspections and can share their insights and tips for how to ensure you get the right outcome. Discussion points will include:

  • Preparation before visit
  • Organising the day(s) following the phone call
  • Greeting the inspector
  • Ensuring correct registration process
  • Selection of the room
  • Introducing the team
  • Selection of governors
  • Manage staff during the visit
  • Managing the inspector
  • Making sure that you are a full part of the process
  • Feedback arrangements.

There will be lots of opportunity for questions and discussion. The session is open to any members of staff who you feel would benefit from learning more about the practical aspects of an inspection. The session will cover primary and secondary.
