The following is list of local providers who are able to support with children's social, emotional and behavioural needs in school. If you are aware of other providers or have feedback on any of the providers listed, please let us know.
Kernow SEMH Support Service - Penny Hermes, Consultant. Offering individual pupil consultancy and training for all school staff.
Behaviour Support South West - Gill Hawkins (nee Smith). Advises and supports the social, emotional and behavioural needs of children within a primary educational setting.
Wild Tribe Explorers - Outdoor learning behaviour support programme - Many children do not achieve in the classroom but will achieve through outdoor learning. This programme is targeted at children who require support in managing their behaviour, developing coping strategies and increasing emotional resilience in learning. The programme will be tailored to meet the needs of individual children or groups of children and can be delivered in different packages. This programme is supported by a behaviour consultant and pre and post course data will be collected with a full progress report written to support the children further.
Out of the Box - Play Therapy and Creative Arts - Play/Creative Arts Therapy improves the emotional well being of the child. It uses Play and Creative Arts methods to address chronic, moderate and severe psychological, emotional conditions and mental health problems in children. The Play Therapist works alongside the child, family, carers, school to unlock the potential in children and to make sense of their life experiences.
Innate Connection - wellbeing coaching for children - One-to-one coaching for children and families to develop their emotional intelligence, build their self-esteem and uncover their innate resilience.
White Gold Cornwall - works with children, young people and adults across the whole of Cornwall to help them navigate life’s challenges.
We offer tailored support to address a wide range of issues and have a proven record of assisting individuals to develop and become valued members of our communities.
White Gold works with schools to develop a bespoke 1:1 plan to support children and young people of all ages. There is an online referral form, we would encourage schools to call the White Gold team to discuss the types of support available.

Our Behaviour Support team is experienced and skilled in supporting schools to meet the needs of our most vulnerable learners and to achieve Ofsted outcomes.
