Who are Supply+?

Supply+ is a unique Teacher Supply & Recruitment Service. We offer regular supply work with fair rates of pay for teachers and reasonable costs for schools.

A collaboration between the Cornwall & Plymouth Primary Heads Associations, our prime motivation is to improve the life chances for all our children. Both are Community Interest Companies serving our member schools.

We are committed to safeguarding the children in our schools and operate the highest standard of safeguarding checks so schools can be sure we are meeting all the statutory requirements of Keeping Children Safe in Education. We ask our teachers to commit to our code of conduct.

What our teachers think of us...
"Thank you all so much for getting me back into teaching again. You've been a great team to work with, and supply has really helped me figure out where I want to be and what I want to be doing."
R.B, Teacher, Oct 2016

Frequently asked questions
How often will I get work through CAPH Supply+?
The more flexible you can be in terms of your availability and geographical area, the more work you are going to get. We work hard to ensure that we provide teachers with regular work and will promote you to schools in your preferred area.
How much does it cost?
There are no registration fees for teachers, or any finders' fees deducted from your salary. There are no financial barriers to schools recruiting our teachers - we do not charge any transfer fees for long term positions.
I have a DBS certificate, and am registered with the Updates service, can I use this?
All teachers registering with Supply+ must complete a new DBS. This allows us to guarantee to schools that we have performed all statutory safeguarding checks and are fully compliant with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
I am an NQT, will my supply teaching count toward my induction year?
It is possible for longer-term placements to count towards your induction period, the school would need to agree to supporting you with this. Short-term supply placements of less than one term, or equivalent, cannot count towards induction, however, can provide you with a range of valuable experience and allow you to get yourself known in schools who may be looking for permanent staff.
How often will I get paid?
You will be paid monthly in arrears. Time sheets are submitted online after completion of each booking.
What kind of person are you looking for?
We are looking for teachers who are confident in delivering the primary curriculum, have a flexible approach to teaching, are reliable and committed to working with us.
