It may come as no surprise to some of you that stress is more prevalent in public service industries such as education, health and social care, and public administration and defence.  These areas are known to operate with limited resources but an increasing expectation to improve end user outcomes - often resulting in burn out amongst service providers.

We have experience and proven success in training the teaching sector across the South West, providing immediate and long lasting results. The training leaves staff feeling empowered to bring about positive changes in behaviour.

During this training session we will look at:

  • The difference between Pressure (Eustress) & Stress (Distress) Pressure makes us problem solve, Stress makes us worry
  • Why Distress is harmful to us and how it affects us both mentally and physically
  • How we can combat the effects of Stress and enjoy Mental Wellbeing by doing the activities we enjoy
  • Know how to build and develop resilience
  • Know how to be emotionally intelligent
  • Know what the signs and symptoms of stress are and how to spot them
  • Being able to draw on our own skills and feel empowered to look inward as well as know what else is out there for support
  • The ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’.
This session is aimed at Secretaries, Business Managers, Admin Officers, Finance Officers, Receptionists working in Schools.
Cancellation policy - any places booked must be cancelled 7 working days in advance of the course to avoid a charge.
