Cornwall Research School
Cornwall Research School
Mounts Bay Academy are delighted to host Cornwall Research School (CRS). Previously an Associate Research School until 2023 where we worked closely with colleagues from Devon Research School (was Kingsbridge Research). We are pleased to be able to continue supporting schools in Cornwall and the Southwest region.
The mission of the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and CRS is to break the link between family income and educational achievement by using research evidence to inform pedagogy, teaching practice and pupil learning.
CRS is led by Director John Rodgers and supported by a core team of two Deputy Directors, Penny Laban (Penair Secondary) and Gareth Tudor (St Ives Junior), including Project Coordinator Victoria Mitchell. CRS has an extended team of Evidence Leaders of Education (ELEs) and Evidence Advocates who are all outstanding practitioners and represent a range of contexts, phases and subject disciplines. Learn more about the team at: https://researchschool.org.uk/cornwall/about-us/meet-the-team.
