Cornwall Marine Academy

Cornwall Marine Academy

CMA was created in 2008 to raise awareness of the wide range of career opportunities in the marine and associated sectors.

Experience the benefits of expert guidance within a collaborative environment, building boats and strong structural towers. Teamwork, communication and problem solving skills will play a central role for the pupils.

We tailor our workshops to deliver within your school and fit around your timetable. This can be a fantastic chance for you to release a teacher, whilst we deliver for up to 3 cohorts (90 students) on the day.

CMA focusses on the next generation and we want to give young people the opportunity to develop key skills and explore the vast careers in Cornwall. Join the journey now.

Green Skills for Schools

CMA is thrilled about the opportunity to assist local schools, both primary and secondary in the development and implementation of sustainability and green skills within their curriculum, approach to teaching, and culture both inside and outside the classroom.

They can support a variety of sustainability/green skills training covering current and relevant topics from ‘Environmental and Social Governance’ and ‘Increasing Biodiversity’ to ‘Carbon Literacy’ and ‘Championing Sustainability in Schools’.
