About iCT4

At iCT4 we specialise in IT solutions for education. We manage the technology for schools so teachers can focus on what they do best.

We believe better IT decisions lead to better educational outcomes. Our aim is to help schools in the South West and the Midlands to lead the future of education.

Education is in our DNA. Our team come from education backgrounds and understand the reality inside schools.

What makes iCT4 truly different is that everyone on our team is responsible for their own school. Instead of sending a different engineer every time, we’re more like a full-time member of your faculty. We do everything we can to help your school succeed – because it’s our school too.

Sims Support Service

Our Sims Support Service is now into its 5th year. The service continues to develop and grow, offering a personal and proactive service from experienced MIS specialists.  Please see the attached “SIMS Support Services” and “Cloud Hosted” for additional details.

If you’d like to find out more about these services or anything else iCT4 could assist your school with, please contact JJ, iCT4 Service Delivery Manager via jjenkin@ict4.co.uk.

We are excited to announce the launch of our Education Welfare Support Service

Our Education Welfare SLA gives schools experienced, high quality support to help all pupils meet their full potential by establishing effective working relationships between parents/carers, children and schools. As each pupil is unique, we work closely with our schools to ensure that suitable, individualised provision can be accessed, reflecting their often complex needs.

Recycling collections

Further to our last update and the postponement of the July collection, we wanted to advise you that following the withdrawal of the replacement recycling partner we have been attempting to secure an alternative, however this has not proven possible.

We’ve therefore unfortunately had to take the decision that we can no longer offer or facilitate these collections on your behalf and you will need to make your own arrangements direct with a WEEE recycling provider.  This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly as we do understand how useful these collections are.

In sourcing a recycling provider please ensure you undertake suitability checks.  Here are some things to consider:

 Are they WEEE Regulatory Compliant?

  • Are they Environment Agency Licensed?
  • Are they GDPR compliant?
  • What will they collect?
  • Is there a minimum number of items?
  • What documentation will be provided? Both in terms of the items collected and as evidence of data destruction.
  • What is their Data Destruction process and to what standard?
  • How much do they charge?
Offers for CAPH members!
  • Free ICT health check encompassing equipment, admin and curriculum usage, best practices including MIS, data protection and statutory requirements.
  • Discount off remote backup services (excluding licenses)
  • Discount off managed encryption service.
