CEP Strategy Overview and Consultation

Education is key to unlocking potential in Cornwall – both the potential of every child and young person who lives here, and the potential of Cornwall as a successful, innovative region with a distinctive identity and significant opportunity.

To achieve this, education provision must be of the highest quality for all children and young people, not just for some.

Delivering this ambition requires education providers working together in a truly collaborative and child-centered way that both enables and demands improvement for all. Cornwall has a unique approach to driving this collaboration and improvement through the Cornwall Education Partnership (CEP), which brings together representatives from education providers and stakeholders across Cornwall. Together, we establish shared priorities and set the education strategy for Cornwall to drive improvement.

Cornwall Education Partnership are currently seeking views on the content for a new education strategy for Cornwall, which will set out how we seek to drive improvement in education provision to ensure that all children and young people have access to world-class opportunities and are able to achieve their potential.

To inform the strategy, we would like feedback from all stakeholders involved in education in Cornwall – including education professionals, families, and partner organisations – on your priorities and the strategic approaches we have included in the draft strategy.
