The Cognition and Learning Team
There will be a number of changes to the Cognition and Learning Team over the Spring and Summer Term.
Schools/settings in the East of the County
Toby Wilson’s working patterns will be changeable as he supports a close family member who is affected by cancer. Some of his work will be carried out by other members of the SEND Support Services and there may be delays in pre-booked visits.
Toby will be absent from work for 4 weeks starting from January 1st which will be reviewed in due course.
Schools/settings in the West of the County
Jo Davidson will be leaving us to a fantastic new career at the end of the Spring Term. We will miss her enormously and know that you will too! Her role will be advertised in the near future via the Cornwall Council website.
Information for schools/settings
- All Requests for Involvement need to be sent to senbusinesssupport@cornwall.gov.uk as usual by the end of January for children and young people to be seen in the Spring Term. Any requests put in after this date will be held over to the Summer Term. The Cognition and Learning Team are almost at capacity for the Spring Term so, if necessary, visit dates will be booked for later in the Summer Term.
- School visits will not take place during the first week of the Summer Term and will resume the week beginning 22nd April.
- There may be impact on service delivery well into the Summer Term so we are grateful for your patience.
