From David Barton: The Worthless funding campaign has been quiet in recent months as the national media has inevitably focussed on industrial action and pay awards across the public sector. Some schools and trusts across the country are alerting the ESFA and their MPs to the fact that they will simply run out of money during the next financial year or 2024-25. If any of you are in that position and are prepared to ‘go public’ with that information alongside colleagues in Essex and Birmingham, for example, please let me know – I realise that this is a trust decision, not one for an individual head within a MAT.
