Cornish Language Resources for Teachers

cornish language

Wanting to broaden the curriculum? Wanting to offer children a Cornish perspective?

To book a free foundation session, to discuss resources and possibilities, or to consider possible community project ideas and potential funding opportunities then please contact our Education Lead, Tony Phillips (retired Head of Sennen School), through the Kowethas an Yeth Kernewek (Cornish Language Fellowship) on our email kowethasanyeth@gmail.com. He would be happy to arrange a visit to share resources, discuss ideas and/or deliver some staff training.

How can parents and teachers learn more?  There are adult Cornish classes all over Cornwall.

Books, CDs, a DVD and other materials are available. Contact the Cornish Office (see below) or see Kowethas an Yeth Kernewek’s on-line shop.
Language organisations also hold regular events. These organisations are listed on the index page of:
Games, a translation service, and other resources can be found on the Cornish Office’s website.
Apps, stories, games and more are also available from Go Cornish on their new site.
