Primary English Subject Leader Network Meetings
Coffee, Cakes and Updates meetings for Primary English Subject Leaders are now via Zoom! This meeting includes key updates for English leaders as well as recommended resources and a chance to discuss priorities with colleagues.
The session will be charged at the reduced rate of £45 (+VAT) and this is the total cost for up to two members of staff from your school. If you can attend with a colleague to chat to during the meeting that would be great.

This 1 hour training session is aimed at YR, Year 1 and Year 2 teachers and TAs
This online session will explore the importance of securing children’s understanding of the basic concept of a sentence as well as tried and tested strategies for teaching punctuation in Reception and KS1.
In this session we will explore:
- Essential sentence construction subject knowledge for KS1 teachers and Teaching Assistants.
- Active strategies and whole school approaches for developing secure understanding of sentence construction in YR and KS1.
- Techniques for teaching the range of punctuation required for working at the expected standard and at greater depth by the end of KS1.
