Do you have a strong safeguarding culture in your school?

Culture is often described as something which is intangible, that said a visitor, or a prospective parent can walk into an educational setting and know immediately whether they want to be there or not. The same applies to the pupils and the staff. They will tell you that they can ‘feel’ the culture. Each settings’ particular safeguarding culture will look slightly different – it is not possible to simply work through a list and achieve an effective safeguarding culture. The latest staff meeting starter encourages staff to consider how strong their school’s safeguarding culture is and how potentially conflicting cultural styles of safeguarding and learning are managed within the school. To find out more click here, or to sign up to receive the staff meeting starters, click here.
