Healthier Weight Strategy 2024-34 for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly

Our Public Health team is developing the Healthier Weight Strategy 2024-2034 for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Obesity is complex with many different causes and to have a real impact on obesity we need to work together to address its many root causes. Our draft Healthier Weight Strategy describes how we will work with our partners and communities to positively change the environmental and societal factors that drive obesity, through a whole systems approach that will work locally with partners and communities.

To create meaningful and long-term change this strategy must be owned by the whole system that contributes to healthier weight. That is why we would like to invite you to have your say on the draft strategy. We have designed a short survey to gather feedback on key aspects of the strategy. Your input and perspectives would be really valuable to us and if you know of colleagues and partners who may wish to comment please circulate the link below.

The draft strategy and the survey can be found on the following link:

The survey closes on Wednesday 31st January 2024.

Thank you in advance for your involvement and support. If you have any questions about the strategy please contact Marc.Neeld@cornwall.gov.uk or Fay.Colloff@cornwall.gov.uk.
