Operation Encompass Teachers' Helpline

Immediate psychological advice is available for staff in schools without any referral, threshold or waiting period. Calls are answered by our team of Educational, Child and Clinical Psychologists at Psychology Associates who are providing a free National Teacher Helpline. This phone number has recently changed and is now:

Since April 2020, the charity ‘Operation Encompass’ has provided a Teachers’ Helpline. The Helpline is for any staff who have concerns about how to support a child who is experiencing domestic abuse and would value immediate advice and guidance. Any school staff can call the Teachers’ Helpline between 8am and 1pm. The phone line is funded by the Home Office and is supported by the Department for Education.

Providing free advice and guidance for teachers following an Operation Encompass call (meaning there has been a Police attended incident of Domestic Abuse) and if anyone in school has concerns related to Domestic Abuse and would value immediate advice and guidance.
