Elklan, which began life as a training company commissioned by Cornwall LEA, is expanding and is now in a fantastic position to offer speech and language therapy directly to schools and pre-schools in Cornwall and North and West Devon.

We will work in harmony with NHS colleagues to offer therapy to children whose needs may not be significant enough to meet the NHS based criteria but are causing YOU concern.

Elklan will provide individual therapy or annual contracts to schools and pre-schools.

Elklan offers:

  • Speech and language assessment of children and young people from qualified SaLTs
  • Bespoke individual therapy sessions
  • Group therapy sessions (where appropriate)
  • Training for education staff
  • Training for parents and carers
  • Makaton training
